What StoreCrow handles

Self-storage operations, kept local.

StoreCrow organizes the day-to-day work of one independently operated facility without moving the facility database into a vendor cloud.

Current availability: StoreCrow 1.0.0 is being prepared for Mac App Store review. It is not publicly downloadable until Apple approval and manual release.

Units and floor plan

Bulk-create unit ranges, track availability and status, search or filter a card grid, and arrange a visual floor plan to match the facility.

Tenants and reservations

Keep searchable tenant records, mask sensitive identifiers and gate codes, create expiring tenant-bound reservations, and cancel them safely.

Move-in and leases

Validate the unit and reservation inside one guarded workflow, then retain the exact reviewed agreement text and its SHA-256 hash with the lease.

Billing and manual payments

Generate monthly rent and configured late fees, schedule rate changes, record external tender without processing it, and correct mistakes through retained reversals.

Receipts and statements

Produce ledger-derived account documents and retain hashes so later output can be tied back to the recorded account history.

Delinquency and notices

Guide ordered internal case states, require evidence for transitions, render counsel-reviewed templates and retain the operator's delivery reference.

Move-out and privacy

Record inspection and deposit disposition, return a unit to available or maintenance, and minimize eligible closed tenant profiles under an approved retention policy.

Reports, CSV and search

Search across facility records, export formula-neutralized CSV reports, and preview validated additive imports before the database changes.

Backup and recovery

Create checksummed SQLite snapshots, validate schema and business invariants, stage restores before replacement, and retain a pre-restore safety snapshot.

Data portability

Export full operational history as a structured, checksummed package with stable IDs, relationships, accounting semantics and documented security exclusions.

Local access protection

Use a salted local passcode and auto-lock, masked secrets, audited reveals and private file permissions alongside device login and full-disk encryption.

Data health

Check database integrity, relationships, one-facility scope, unit and lease state, ledger links, balances and required agreement evidence.

Your facility identity

Choose, replace or remove the facility logo shown beside the facility name. StoreCrow normalizes it locally and retains it in verified backups and full portable exports while keeping the software identity visible.

What StoreCrow deliberately does not do

StoreCrow does not process cards, operate gate hardware, synchronize to a cloud service, manage multiple facilities in one database, calculate tax, replace accounting software, encrypt the SQLite file, provide legal advice or prove notice delivery.

Read the operator FAQ or review the current testing and release evidence.
